Director's Report

We are in the home stretch of our marching season and are excited to see how strongly the band is finishing up! With our final two competitions coming up we hope to see many of you in the stands cheering on the band. Your support means a lot to the students (and teachers!)

Stay tuned for full details on our WBA Championships trip to Clovis. There are a few variables up in the air that won't be known until after the Logan competition Saturday. I will email out the itinerary on Sunday complete with a packing list and other details. Students are staying in the gymnasiums at Clovis North High School on Saturday night and competing at Buchanan High School on both Saturday and Sunday. Important to note that each band member will need to have sleeping gear as well as a towel and supplies for showering at Clovis North.

As we nearing the close of a fantastic marching band season, I want to express our deep gratitude for the generosity and support you’ve shown toward our music program. Your contributions are vital to keeping our marching band strong and have truly enhanced our students' experiences.

As we plan for the rest of the school year, we are still in need of additional funds to meet our

budget and sustain the program’s success. Currently, we’ve received approximately 60% of the expected contributions from our families, which we appreciate greatly. However, we need your help to bridge the remaining gap and meet our fundraising goal.

To continue providing our students with the high-quality resources and opportunities they

deserve, we ask each family to consider completing their full contribution. This support is

essential to our music program’s continued success. Thank you for your generosity and for

being such an integral part of our students' achievements.

Movie Ticket Fundraiser Now Active

Great news! Our Habit Burger fundraiser raised nearly $2,000 in sales, and Habit donated almost $400 to AFM.
