Director's Report

Home stretch! With some rain forecast for this weekend WBA has made some adjustments to the venues for championships so the events can happen on turf fields. Saturday will be at Sunnyside High School (Fresno) and Sunday will be at Fresno State University.

Make sure you double check the itinerary for updates (as it's a live document) and pack extra black socks and t-shirts for Sunday.

We hope you find some time to rest, connect and relax this Thanksgiving season. We are grateful for many things, among them our amazing band community.

With gratitude,

Mr. Grantham & Mr. Fell

We need Road Warriors for Grand Champs Competition this weekend!

Urgent need for more Road Warriors this weekend!

Due to the rain in the forecast for the Grand Champs this weekend, the competition location has been changed.

Saturday -- Sunnyside High School (1019 S Peach Ave, Fresno, CA 93727)

Sunday -- Fresno State University (1620 E Bulldog Ln, Fresno, CA 93710)

We are making last minute plans to bring more equipment due to the rain. With the rain and everything potentially being wet, everything will take longer. Please consider jumping in last minute to volunteer this weekend.

Medication Collection for Champs

Medication collection for Champs this Saturday at the gate in the front parking lot from 8:45-9:15am.

All medication for students must be in the original containers, and I cannot accept any medication without the corresponding signed paperwork.

It is helpful if you can place the medication and 2 copies of the paperwork in a ziplock bag with the student's name on the bag.

You will be able to pick up medication upon arrival on Sunday night.

If you have any questions, please email Jen Gable at avhs.ra@gmail.com

Thank you!
