Weekly Remediation and Consultation Time

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we continue to strive for excellence at Lehi High School, we will implement a weekly remediation and consultation time for our students, starting next term on Wednesdays. This would not change the morning pick up or afternoon drop off time for the school buses.

This dedicated time will provide students with the opportunity to seek additional support in their studies, address specific challenges they may be facing, and engage in meaningful conversations with their teachers. Please encourage your student(s) to take advantage of this opportunity. Here are some key benefits of this initiative:

1. Personalized Support: Students will receive tailored assistance that targets their individual learning needs, helping to reinforce concepts and boost their confidence.

2Improved Academic Performance: Regular access to support can lead to better understanding and retention of material, ultimately enhancing student performance in assessments and overall coursework.

3Encouragement of Self-Advocacy: By participating in consultation sessions, students will learn to take initiative in their learning, developing important skills that will serve them well beyond high school.

4. Stronger Teacher-Student Relationships: This time allows for deeper connections between students and teachers, fostering an environment where students feel comfortable seeking help and guidance.

5. Holistic Development: Beyond academic support, these sessions will promote discussions around study strategies, time management, and other essential skills for success in high school and beyond.

We believe that this initiative will not only enhance academic outcomes but also contribute to a more supportive school community. We encourage you to discuss this opportunity with your child and emphasize the importance of utilizing this time effectively.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to your child’s education. Together, we can ensure that all our students have the resources they need to thrive.

Passing: 8:47-8:54 7 minutes
