Advent Greetings

As we celebrated the First Sunday of Advent and the beginning of a new liturgical year yesterday, as always, I invite you to celebrate Advent this Advent. May this season be an opportunity for us to refocus ourselves on our faith when our culture wishes only to push us straight into Christmas--and an entirely commercialized, secularized Christmas, at that.

Let us ask God to give us the grace to maintain our focus on the coming of the Christ-child and be His witnesses to our world of the joy that only He provides.
