Musical Director Announcement

I am pleased to share with you that we have found a new director for Saint Agnes School’s 2025 Spring Musical! Ms. Christina Malloy brings to the task nearly a decade's worth of experience in theatre arts and youth ministry. Most recently, she directed Missed the Boat Theatre’s second production of Catholic Young Adults: The Musical right here in the Helene Houle Auditorium this past summer.

In her work as Youth and Young Adult Coordinator at St. Jude of the Lake in Mahtomedi, she has already met and worked with several Aggie families. She writes, “I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to become a valuable member of the team and to contribute toward the growth of the theatre program at Saint Agnes!” Please join me in welcoming Ms. Malloy to the Saint Agnes family! The announcement of the specific show and audition procedures will happen in January. You can reach out to Ms. Malloy to welcome her and offer your support by email: musical@saintagnesschool.org.

Have you wanted to try your hand at adult education? Are you a crafter who wants to share your talents with others? If you can dream it up, we can work to make it happen. Interested individuals should reach out to Miss Angie Koenig for more information by December 16. Please note, you must be E3/Virtus compliant by the start of the class.

Save the Date: Aggie Spotlight Night 1/18/25

Calling all Aggies in grades 7-12!  Mark your calendars for Saturday, January 18th for the Aggie Spotlight Talent Show! This event is replacing what was previously known as Art Afternoon.

If you have a particular talent that you would like to share, whether that be singing, dancing, gymnastics, performing a skit, playing an instrument, slam poetry, comedy, yo-yo tricks, juggling, or even ventriloquy, we’d love to have you audition!

Auditions for the Aggie Spotlight Talent Show will take place on Wednesday, January 8th after school in the auditorium. Signups will be available outside Mr. Broszko’s room during finals week. Please see him for any questions. If need be, another audition day can be added.

12/13 Junior High Game Afternoon

Students in grades 7th and 8th are invited to attend a fun afternoon sponsored by the Junior High Student Council. Students are welcome to bring board games to play in the Commons, and there will be other activities taking place in Bandas Gym. The event starts after school at 3:00 and ends at 5:00. Please pick up your children promptly after the event. The cost is $1 for students who choose to bring snacks to share and $3 for students who do not bring snacks. The money earned will be used to offset future fun events sponsored by the Junior High Student Council.
