Fr. Baker Appears on Jeopardy! TODAY!

Dear School Families,

As publicized in the School Newsletter, social media platforms, and The Catholic Spirit, our school chaplain, Fr. Paul Baker will be appearing as a contestant on Jeopardy! today, Monday, March 30 at 4:30pm on NBC!

Families are invited to come for the Jeopardy! watch party on Monday afternoon in the Helene Houle Auditorium. Come at 4:15pm for a brief welcome and introduction followed by the live broadcast at 4:30pm. A brief social will follow at 5:00pm.

We have also just published the latest episode of our school podcast, featuring Fr. Baker! We filmed this back in September, and as you'll see and hear, the recording of this episode was part of the inspiration for Father auditioning again.

6th Grade Passion Play

Enter into the mysteries of Holy Week by attending the Divine Mercy Passion Play, put on by our 6th grade class. There will be a public showing at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, March 31 in the Helene Houle Auditorium at Saint Agnes School. Please come and experience the beauty of our Lord's love and suffering for our salvation. There is no cost, but free will donations will be accepted. 

VFW Auxiliary – Spring Art Contests

The VFW offers contests throughout the year and below are some great opportunities for those who love the fine arts! The deadline for all contests is on or before March 31, 2026.

• Grades K-8: Illustrating America
• K-2, 3-5, 6-8 levels: 1^st prize $100, 2^nd place $50, 3^rd place $25 (local, national, and state levels)
• Grades 9-12: Young American Art Contest 
• Local, state, and national awards: National awards are 1^st place: $15,000, 2^nd place $7,500, 3^rd place: $3,500, 4^th & 5^th place: $1,500, 6^th & 7^th place: $1,000, 8^th – 19^thplace: $500
• Grades 9-12: 3-Dimensional Patriotic Art Contest
• Again, local, state, and national awards are 1^st place: $2,500, 2^nd place: $1,500, 3^rd place: $1,000, 4^th place: $500

Save The Date: Upper School Grandparents’ Day Schedule 2026

Calling all Aggie Grandparents/Senior Friends! Please encourage your student to call their grandparents and invite them to Upper School Grandparents Day on April 16th. This personal invitation will mean so much to the special grandparents/elderly friends in our children’s lives.

9:30 AM – Grades 7-12 Grandparents Day Mass (Church)

10:30 AM – Light Reception (Bandas) 

11:15 AM – Invite Grandparents/children to Auditorium

11:25 AM – Director of Upper School Address (Helene Houle Auditorium)

11:45 AM – Dismissal/Optional Grandchild-led tour

Please note that your students will meet you in the church.

We are excited to again offer fun and educational programs for Aggies of all ages this summer at Saint Agnes!
