Easter Week and National Catholic Education Association (NCEA) Conference

Happy Easter to all of you! I hope your Easter celebrations were blessed. During the Octave this past week, a number of our Saint Agnes School employees (and a couple fathers of current Aggie students) gave presentations at the NCEA Conference in Minneapolis—another example of our school’s leadership in the renewal of Catholic education. A whole host of our students were also featured as altar servers and leading the music (our high school choir was fantastic, as usual, under the direction of Dr. Chris Ganza)! Leila Vance and Rose Coleman presented on “Formed by the Past: Wisdom and Wondering Teaching Historical Figures Through Narrative.” David Gockowski presented on “The Power and Purpose of Story: How Narratives Can Form Minds and Hearts.” Michael Adkins presented on “Classical Education & Catholic Renewal: Challenges and Opportunities.” Finally, we had two Saint Agnes School dads present at NCEA as well—namely, Jason Adkins and Billy Junker. I’m so proud of our school and its influence in the broader world of Catholic education!

Announcing our 2026 Commencement Speaker

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Patricia Connolly, a distinguished leader in technology and proud alumna of Saint Agnes, will serve as our 2026 Commencement Speaker. Dr. Connolly exemplifies a remarkable combination of professional excellence and deep-rooted faith, with a career spanning global leadership roles, entrepreneurship, and service to the Church. As a graduate of the Class of 1982, her journey stands as a powerful witness to what it means to live out one’s vocation with purpose, integrity, and perseverance. We look forward to welcoming her back to Saint Agnes to inspire our graduates as they prepare to take their next steps beyond our hallowed halls.
