Principal Notes

Dear Parents,

Welcome back. This is a busy week, with Sports Recognition Night on Wednesday, the Spring Concert on Friday, and, of course, the whole week dedicated to celebrating our teachers.

On Friday, the gates will open at 2:50 p.m. Bring your chairs or blankets and set up for a relaxing and beautiful afternoon of singing and dancing. We reserve the front of the yard for low sitting chairs and the back for taller chairs. The concert will begin at 3:30 p.m. and last approximately one hour. The weather is predicted to be cool, however, you may want to wear a hat to protect yourself from the sun. For security reasons, the building is locked during the concert and reopened when it is over. Students will not be released to leave during the concert.

After the concert, the Assisting Children’s Ministry is offering Mexican food for sale. (See their menu below.) You can take the food to go or stay and enjoy it at our lunch tables. We kindly request that you remove any trash you generate, as we do not have staff available to collect it.

Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you on Friday. (Or Wednesday at 6 p.m. if you have an athlete to celebrate!)

Sincerely,

Jennifer

Alternate Dress Guidelines

Alternate Dress Code for Dollar Dress Days and other days as designated by the principal.

An Alternate Dress Code means “Free of Uniform,” not the freedom to dress any way a student desires. This code is established so the dress will match the high academic standards and the image of our school. It is to be adhered to BY ALL GRADES, TK THROUGH EIGHTH when alternate dress days are designated.

Clothes must be clean, free of holes, no tears, and in good taste. Oversize or undersize clothing is not allowed, this includes length. Bicycle shorts and boxer shorts cannot extend below the hem of other articles of clothes. Shorts and skirts should be walking length, between the top of the knee and no higher than 2 inches above the knee, no cut-offs or short shorts. Hats, halters, tank tops, and shirts with spaghetti straps or that do not cover the midriff are not allowed. Shoes must have a closed heel and toe; no sandals, or plastic shoes are allowed. Socks or tights are to be worn at all times. The school reserves the right to send anyone home who comes inappropriately dressed.

Reminders

Tuition Rates 2025-26

The Tuition and Fee Schedule for the upcoming school year is available HERE.

Virtus Training

Virtus - If your Virtus certification is expired/expiring soon, please call the parish at 626-793-0693 to register for upcoming classes.

Lapses in Volunteer Requirements

TB and Virtus must be renewed every four years. Live Scan fingerprints do not expire.

For Tuition Plans A & C, both parents are required to maintain their volunteer requirements up to date. Lapses will cause tuition plans to default to non-service plans, resulting in a tuition increase for your student(s).

Please be sure to have current TB clearance, Fingerprinting, Code of Conduct, and current VIRTUS certificates on file in the school office to qualify for volunteering and a service hour tuition plan (plans A & C).
