NO ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL THIS SUNDAY
Adult Sunday School will resume next week.
Each month on the first Sunday of the month, we have our Change Sunday where we collect money to provide for the needs of those in our area where we can be of some assistance. I would like to tell you where some of your funds have recently helped.
Hot meals are offered to children during the school year for a cost. Families who qualify may receive free or reduced meals. The determination is made based on the income of the family and the number of people in the family. There are many families who miss the cutoff by mere dollars so do not qualify for any assistance. Sometimes children incur cafeteria debt because they cannot afford the reduced or full cost at some point during the year.
This year the cafeteria debt for students across Leander ISD is currently $30,000. The cafeteria debt for students at Mason Elementary was approximately $500. We took some of the funds we have collected during Change Sunday and paid that debt for them. We paid $515 so that students would not incur any further debt during the last weeks of school.
This means that children can continue to receive a hot meal at school, sometimes the only hot meal they receive during the day.
Thank you for your continued support for our community and especially the children who benefit greatly.

INTERCESSORY PRAYER PARTNER MINISTRY
Intercessors will be at the back of the church, near the sacristy door to pray with anyone who would like special prayers during communion at the 10:30 service on Sundays. Often people will ask for prayers for healing for themselves or others, but any prayer request is welcomed. If you would like to pray with one of our prayer partners, you are encouraged to come forward for communion and then make your way to the back for additional prayers. If you have any questions about this ministry or are interested in becoming a prayer partner, contact Cindy Gravis or Fr. Richard.

And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven, and blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd. And all ate and were filled. What was left over was gathered up, twelve baskets of broken pieces.
Luke 9:16-17
