From the Junior Warden:

Just a cautionary note for everyone. We have found a large amount of Poison Ivy all around our church campus. Nearly every stand of Oak trees has some amount of this invasive plant. Even in the front yard near the parking lot there is a large vine winding up a tree. Please be careful while we work to have this issue eradicated.
DON'T FORGET - On Sunday, May 23rd, we will be celebrating our seniors who are graduating from high school and college! Seniors will be announced during the 9 am service, which will be held on the back porch of the Family Life Center on the church grounds. We will be having a Senior Brunch on the front lawn of the church immediately following the 9 am service. Please let us know if you have an graduating senior so that we can ensure that their achievements are celebrated. Send information regarding your graduating senior to Sherrie Hill or Sarah Martinez.
Episcopal bishops will mark anniversary of George Floyd’s murder with May 25 virtual memorial service

The murder of George Floyd by, then police officer, Derek Chauvin ignited a season of protests across the nation and world, a time of intense communal reflection on racism, and a renewal on working towards the kind of justice and peace we see in God’s Kingdom by which we may have a foretaste in this world. Several Episcopal bishops are coming together for a virtual memorial service to mark the anniversary of such an important and weighty moment. The service is being offered through several dioceses Facebook pages. See the link below if you would like more information on how you can view and participate in this online prayer service.
