Nonpublic Funding 2025-26 Update
Mr. Jason Adkins from the Minnesota Catholic Conference (MCC), Aggie/alumni parent, stopped by last week to let me know that the Legislature had agreed to retain funding for pupil aids for all students in Minnesota private schools in its bi-annual budget. That means that our school nurse, two of our school counselors, our textbook funding, and transportation reimbursements from many districts to our parents will be in place for the 2025-26 school year. Thank you to everyone who called or wrote their legislators on this important funding. We would have lost just shy of $350,000 in reimbursements and services, if they had cut this funding. Bless you for all your prayers as well for this funding to be kept in the budget!

ALEKS Math Summer Program Information
Once again, the Math Department is pleased to extend a helping hand to our students over the summer in order to improve and strengthen our students’ math skills. We have enrolled in an online program (Aleks – www.aleks.com) that will cover 1st grade math skills through 12th grade math skills at various levels of ability; the program is for low, average and advanced-level students. The cost is $35 for a 3-month subscription – roughly the cost of a paperback workbook through many different book stores. The program advances math skills for students at various levels (elementary math to Calculus), and we estimate three hours per week as a minimum commitment for the program to be effective. The Aleks program is simple to manage and effective; Aleks offers excellent support and will be overseen by Saint Agnes teachers online as student progress can be easily tracked.
