Summer 2025 Campus Updates (Part IV)

Even though we’re on summer break, our Administration, Business Office, Main Office, and Advancement teams (and, of course, the incredible Maintenance staff), are still here preparing for the 2025-26 school year.

Continuing from our last 3 newsletters, please enjoy a few more photos from some of the improvements being made around campus!

Our new Student Resource Center is taking shape! Located at the end of the Kindergarten hallway, this space will provide an excellent place for students in need of a little extra help to receive the support they need.

Our first floor classrooms are all receiving new stronger, fire-resistant door frames and doors.

Outside, the retaining wall and fence that surround our primary parking lot are now also undergoing a much-needed facelift. With the old fencing removed along the north and east portions of the wall, the concrete posts and perpetually-drooping wall are being dismantled and hauled away, making way for a brand new retaining wall and fence that will further secure our parking lot.

Looking to get a jump on all things back to school? You can find information like important dates, the school calendar, school supply lists, health forms, and more by visiting the Back to School page on our website, linked below. All this and more will also be mailed home to all families early August.

Coming Soon: Saint Agnes Studio

For the last several months, we've been hard at work building out an exciting new space that will house our creative marketing and communications initiatives moving forward, and we're almost ready to share it with you.

As we dial in lighting, finalize production schedules, and prepare to press record in August, be sure to check your email and our social media platforms so you don't miss the formal unveiling of Saint Agnes Studio. This space and the content produced out of it will not only level up our ability to share our mission with our current school families and students, but also with our parish community, alumni network, prospective families, and generous benefactors.

K-6 Summer Reading Challenge – 2025!

Summer is here! Below, we are offering some opportunities for students to continue reading and learning over the summer, supporting your students’ formation and education in faith, reason, and virtue! Continuing to read over the summer, and for the sake of leisure, is a key component to maintaining/strengthening a child’s attention-span and focus, as well as avoiding “summer slide”!

We are excited to promote the following summer reading opportunities for you and PreK-6 Summer Reading Lists from National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). Note, we’ve adapted these lists as we see appropriate; that said, parents are encouraged to preview books to ensure their suitability.

Our Summer Reading Challenge 2025 has three versions for various age groups and prizes when minimum summer reading goals are met. Printed versions of the Summer Reading Challenge logs were handed out during school; you can also download them below:

Please contact Director of Academics, Dr. Michael Adkins if you have questions.

Summer Reading Parties

All Upper School Students, and now Upper School Parents as well, are welcome to join in reading our Summer Reading Party books. Participants read at their own pace, then gather for a party at the beginning of the school year in August to discuss and enjoy treats. The date is TBD. There are two books—feel free to read one or both. The first, in honor of her 250th birthday this year, is Jane Austen’s classic, Pride and Prejudice. The second is Michael Shaara’s Civil War novel, Killer Angels, celebrating its 50th anniversary of winning a Pulitzer Prize.

Anyone interested in meeting during the summer to discuss Pride and Prejudice in more regularly, email Ms. Perrin (tperrin@saintagnesschool.org). For questions about the Book Party Celebration, email Dr. Pawl (fpawl@saintagnesschool.org).

Fall Sports Registration is OPEN

Welcome to our new registration process!  A NEW account must be created by all who register, even if you have previously registered your students for sports. Registration is to be completed by a parent and student. Link is furnished below. After creating your NEW account, register each student for the sport they wish to participate in. If you have problems creating a new account, contact Mr. Streitz in the athletic office.

All athletes in grades 9-12 must have a current sports physical exam on file in the school office to participate in practices. Physicals are current for 3 years from the date of the last exam. We are in the process of importing the physicals on file from the old registration site. Not having the physical will not prohibit you from registering, however, you must provide a physical date in order to proceed with the registration.
