The Chamber’s value is directly connected to the actions we take each and every day. Our focus is on creating a business community which has the greatest opportunity to succeed. We do this by connecting people and opportunity which in turn creates business. Opportunities are filled by risk takers who choose our area of influence to open a business. These intrepid souls are in need of our support and understand the need to earn your business. Take nothing for granted, promote your business or service, and remove as many obstacles for a customer to do business with you as possible.
Sounds simple right? It’s not. This is where your chamber of commerce membership can help. The chamber with our full array of resources could be looked at as an insurance umbrella policy for your business.
The Chamber’s April Fool’s Day attempt at humor caught some of you as real. On Friday April 1st we jokingly wrote that we were opening a restaurant here at the Chamber and the number of readers who reached out to inquire about this was eye opening. We are NOT opening a restaurant. It does show that many are reading our stuff!
Fresh off the success of our inaugural Escondido Green Transportation Exposition we’re going through the process of planning our 2

Finally, thank you to all who continue to support your business community by patronizing local business whenever possible. Your support is what allows our local business community to thrive and helps attract more businesses to our area.
Businesses through fees and retail sales tax generation are a major source of funds necessary to invest back in the community creating a better environment to live, work, do business and play for all.
Cheers, JR
