October 31st, 9 AM-12 PM
Join us on October, 31st from 9AM-12 PM at the Great Hearts Live Oak field for our Inaugural Grecian Amphora Pumpkin Carving Contest! We ask that you RSVP so we know how many pumpkins to purchase.

Each pumpkin will cost $5 and will include: 1 pumpkin, paints, markers, spoons and trash cans. Parents/guardians may purchase one pumpkin for each child or one for the whole family. Please bring cash on the day of the event.

We kindly request that you bring your own blanket to sit on. If you choose to carve your pumpkin, you will need to supply your own carving knife. We will not have knives available for use.

There will be owl-some prizes, so get your creative juices flowing!
Quarter 2 starts October 26th!
Distance Learning Families, you have been sent an e-mail regarding your intent for Quarter 2. Please respond by Friday, October 9th. If you did not receive the e-mail, please click here to submit the form.

Thank you, in advance, for your support of reading and literacy, as well as your support of this special event at Great Hearts Live Oak! Hoot hoot hooray for great books!
Lunch Menu Update
For the past few weeks, there have been changes to the lunch menu. We are working diligently with our vendor to serve the menu reflected on the webpage. Please note the website states “Menu subject to change” and occasionally, this may be the case. Starting next week the menu selections will be back on track. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Car Line Recap
We have seen great improvement in our drop-off and pick-up procedures! Thank you for partnering with us and adhering to the two feet of distance between cars. It helps us load and unload more students per cycle and keeps Gateway Blvd. clear! As we all get more familiar with the system, we anticipate a speedier morning and afternoon process.

Please remember the following:
-have your scholars ready to get out of the car with their mask and backpack on in the morning

-do not get out of your vehicle to help your scholar (we promise we will get them out safely)

-follow the wave times

Drop-off
7:25 am for last names A-M
7:35 am for last names N-Z
Pick-up
3:25 pm for last names A-M
3:40 pm for last names N-Z

-We will ask you to pull up into a parking space on the left during a reset if your scholar is taking an inordinate amount of time to get out of the vehicle

-If you are picking your child up early, please come before 2:45 PM on a regular day and 12:45 PM on a half day. Please remember, there is no parking and pick-up your student.
