Love God.
Love people.
Make disciples of Christ.
Quick note from Pastor Ben:

The summer season is coming to an end for us here in Minnesota. I always look forward to fall, however, I also go through a bit of mourning as my favorite season comes to an end. As we begin to wrap up summer and look towards the fall, I believe Jesus’ words from Matthew 16:21-26 are important and timely for us as a church. We’ll be looking more closely at those verses this Sunday as a part of the message. As we dive into the text we will discover how we so easily relate to Peter and his response to Jesus. We will also be reminded of the freedom and joy we experience as we seek to "take up our cross and follow Jesus.”

As we mentioned last Sunday, we are in need of volunteers for our Wednesday evening youth and kids ministry. We’ve already had some volunteers come forward! We still are in need of a couple of classroom leaders to help out with Hope Kids. If you would be interested in helping or finding out more information, please email Abby at Also please be in prayer for our youth and children’s ministries as we plan to begin our fall programs in mid September. Pray for safety and health for those involved and that God would be at work in a very real way in the lives of our students and all who volunteer.

We look forward to being able to worship together this Sunday whether it’s in person or whether you join us online!

See you Sunday!

-Pastor Ben

Below is information for the coming weekend:

We offer two Sunday Worship services. The times will be as follows:

As a reminder, temporarily bulletins will not be handed out on Sunday mornings. A "mini-bulletin" has been created: See August 30th's Mini-Bulletin.

We ask that everyone who attends our services play their part in practicing safe social distancing. You can find a full list of our safety guidelines here (COVID19 | SAFETY GUIDELINES).
The following may be repetitive, but in case you missed it in previous weeks...

There is a mandatory "wear a mask in public places" policy in effect in Minneapolis (Executive order 20-81). We are highly recommending that, if possible, you would please wear a mask upon entering and exiting the sanctuary. We are also asking that you wear the mask whenever social distancing (6 ft apart) is not possible. We know this might seem inconvenient, but I believe that this is an opportunity to place the needs of others (potentially at risk congregation members) as more important than ourselves (Philippians 2:3-4).

For the health and safety of all who choose to worship at Hope Church, we ask that if you have any COVID-19 symptoms that you stay at home until you are no longer symptomatic. We also ask that if you have been in close proximity to someone who tests positive for COVID-19, that you take the necessary precautions and refrain from participating in Hope Church activities and our Worship services until you are certain you are not at risk of spreading the virus.

We will have masks available for those who do not have them. We are asking that you would honor the CDC's recommendation of social distancing, but also understanding families will sit next to one another. If you have any questions, please feel free to email or call us.

As always if you have needs or prayer concerns or praises to share - please let us know by clicking HERE to fill out an online form or call 612.521.3547.
