Love God.
Love people.
Make disciples of Christ.
Quick note from Pastor Ben:

I don’t know if we could ask for better September weather. I hope you all have had a chance to get outdoors and enjoy these incredible fall days.

We have a unique Sunday ahead for us at Hope. At 9am we will have our traditional service along with communion. Our sermon text is Philippians 2:1-11. We will be talking about
the responsibilities we have been given as citizens who belong to the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus calls us to embrace a life of humility and dependence on Him. Our other key texts for Sunday are Micah 6:6-8 and Mark 10:35-38, 44-45.

We will also be having our Annual Meeting this Sunday. It will take place during the 10:30 service. The service will be live-streamed to Hope’s FaceBook Group for those who are not able or are not comfortable attending. Most likely we will have a bit of a larger crowd and people of all ages at the meeting. Because of that, as pastors we are asking all who attend to please wear your face masks through the entirety of the meeting. This is to be considerate and mindful of others in our congregation who may be more vulnerable to COVID-19. This also gives us a great opportunity to practice Philippians 2. As always those with medical conditions, as well as younger children, are exempt from wearing masks. Please keep this Sunday in prayer as we have some important items to discuss as a congregation.

See you Sunday!

-Pastor Ben Sollie

Below is information for the coming weekend:

SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE TIMES
We offer two Sunday Worship services. The times will be as follows:

As a reminder, temporarily bulletins will not be handed out on Sunday mornings. A "mini-bulletin" has been created: See September 27th's Mini-Bulletin.

We ask that everyone who attends our services play their part in practicing safe social distancing. You can find a full list of our safety guidelines here (COVID19 | SAFETY GUIDELINES).
The following may be repetitive, but in case you missed it in previous weeks...

There is a mandatory "wear a mask in public places" policy in effect in Minneapolis (Executive order 20-81). We are highly recommending that, if possible, you would please wear a mask upon entering and exiting the sanctuary. We are also asking that you wear the mask whenever social distancing (6 ft apart) is not possible. We know this might seem inconvenient, but I believe that this is an opportunity to place the needs of others (potentially at risk congregation members) as more important than ourselves (Philippians 2:3-4).

For the health and safety of all who choose to worship at Hope Church, we ask that if you have any COVID-19 symptoms that you stay at home until you are no longer symptomatic. We also ask that if you have been in close proximity to someone who tests positive for COVID-19, that you take the necessary precautions and refrain from participating in Hope Church activities and our Worship services until you are certain you are not at risk of spreading the virus.

We will have masks available for those who do not have them. We are asking that you would honor the CDC's recommendation of social distancing, but also understanding families will sit next to one another. If you have any questions, please feel free to email or call us.
Annual Reports will be available on September 13th at both services. Please call the office at 612-521-3547 if you need to arrange a different time or method to get your copy of the report (one per household please).
