Almighty and everlasting God, in Christ you have revealed your glory

among the nations: Preserve the works of your mercy,

that your Church throughout the world may persevere

with steadfast faith in the confession of your Name;

through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns

with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Ministry Project: Comforting Hearts


Join us on Wednesdays from 10:00am to 12:00 noon to make heart-shaped pillows for breast cancer patients at Sharp Cancer Clinic, Chula Vista. Each pillow will come with a hand-written note of prayer and encouragement.  

You don't need to know how to sew- all are welcome to help with this project.

  • Emergency Food Pantry - South Bay Community Services (Maria and Joe Love)
  • Blessings in a Bag - For our neighbors who live in need. Click here for a list of items you can donate to fill the bags.
  • Gently Used Clothing - Men's, women's and children's 

Items may be brought to Nale Hall on Sundays when we gather for worship.

You may also bring your items to the church during our weekday office hours,

Monday through Thursday from 9am to 3pm.

If you are not able to bring them, please contact the parish office, and we will pick up the items from your home.

As we approach this year’s Diocesan Convention, you are invited to engage with the important resolutions that will guide our shared mission and ministry. Our Church's governance relies on the voices of both clergy and laity to discern how our diocese carries out Christ’s mission in the world.

The resolutions submitted this year address gun safety, governance, and outreach, offering us opportunities to respond faithfully to our call as peacemakers. Diocesan Convention 2024


As we approach this year’s Diocesan Convention, you are invited to prayerfully consider whether God is calling you to offer your gifts in service to our diocese by running for an elected position. The governance of our church is rooted in shared leadership between clergy and laity, celebrating the collaborative nature of the Episcopal Church. Serving on the Standing Committee or Executive Council allows you to participate in shaping the mission, ministry, and future of our diocese.

The recently formed EDSD LGBTQIA+ Inclusion Task Force is gathering those with lived experience and local thought leaders for a half-day Summit, and we want to hear from you! The Investiture of Presiding Bishop-elect Sean Rowe

November 2nd, 9:30am ET


In this historic and joyful season, we invite you to pray for guidance for our church and our new presiding bishop as he leads us in envisioning the reign of God in our midst. May our celebration unite us as a sacramental community, and may we be filled with new energy to bear witness to God’s work of redemption.


Who: Everyone is invited! 


What: The Episcopal Church will officially welcome the Rt. Rev. Sean Rowe as its 28th presiding bishop with a smaller, simpler investiture service aimed at reducing carbon footprint and increasing churchwide virtual participation.  


When: Nov. 2, with a prelude featuring a “roll call” of dioceses starting at 9:30 a.m. ET. The service itself starts at 11 a.m. ET. 


Where: The service will be livestreamed on the Episcopal Church website (episcopalchurch.org) and on The Episcopal Church’s Facebook page. A recording will be posted and distributed after the service.
