1.Easter Sunday is coming up, and with that, the kids' Easter egg hunt! Any donations of candy are welcome. Please no chocolate, as it melts very quickly in the heat! We will be filling eggs on Thursday, April 2nd, at 5:30 in the Fellowship Hall.
2.Our next observance of the Sacrament of Holy Communion will be on March 22 with Rev. Dr. Mike Johnston.
3.Beginning March 19, the Session will meet in the manse at 6:30 on the third Thursday of each month. The meetings will not be joint with the Diaconate unless requested by the Pastor or deacons. Session meetings are open to everyone as guests; deacons and committee chairs are especially welcome.
4.The church office's email address has changed. Though firstpresby@tds.net will continue to work for the rest of this month, use the new address: fpadmin@firstpresbystmarys.org.
5.The Worship and Music Committee needs to fill two recent vacancies. If you are interested in serving on the committee, please contact Michael Baker for more information.
6.In order to decorate the sanctuary for Palm Sunday (March 29) we are asking if any members of the congregation have palm trees that need trimming or could afford to lose some fresh green fronds. Any type of palm will be considered – cabbage, windmill, queen, Christmas, pindo, sago... whatever. Before you cut, though, please contact Michael Baker for more information.
