Friends, I hope you had a fun, safe Fourth of July weekend

The weather was amazing, perfect for beach, cookouts, ice cream and fireworks! Now it’s back to work. Please be extra careful as you travel around the Island; bikers, runners, walkers, baby strollers, golf carts all sharing the roads with cars. Crazy how much of a rush we can be in, even when on vacation! My prayer is for us all to have a safe, healthy Summer.

Some exciting news, our parish cookbook is now in production (edit was completed last week). It should be shipped around August 4.  I am so excited by this project and so grateful for all who have submitted recipes, pre-ordered books or have just shared their excitement. It's always fun when a dream comes to fruition. Now we plan the tasting parties and book signing. Thank you, God!

Enjoy your week. See you at Church or another nice place around town.

Blessings,

Michelle Dooley

Branches & Holy Redeemer

We all are feeling the pinch of inflation, rising prices across the board: food, gas, energy. While this is difficult for everyone, it is the poor who suffers the most. Please consider picking up a few extra staples on your next shopping trip and bring to Church to be given to Branches and Holy Redeemer Food Pantry.  Branches and Holy Redeemer Food Pantry feed many families here in Cape May County. But it is only through your goodness, thoughtfulness and generosity that Branches and Holy Redeemer Food Pantry can meet the needs of so many families. Baskets are in the gathering space of all our Churches: Sacred Heart, St. Paul & Maris Stella. Thank you!

House of Charity-Bishop’s Appeal

House of Charity-Bishop's Appeal well underway here at St. Brendan the Navigator. Our goal this year is $137,300. We thank all who have already sent in their pledge cards & we encourage and invite all parishioners to participate in this important effort. As always, we thank you for your generosity and stewardship.

Home Blessing

If you would like to have your home blessed, please contact the office and one of our Priests or Deacons will call you to make arrangements. As a young girl, I have fond memories of moving to a new home and having Father come and bless it. I found it comforting then and still today.
