The Crestview Area, Destin Area and Niceville Valparaiso Chambers of Commerce partnered with the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors to host a Candidate Forum on July 9^th at the Niceville High School Auditorium. There was a nice turnout of voters as they heard from candidates running for Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioner, Okaloosa County Sheriff, and Okaloosa County School Board.

Special thanks to Niceville High School for hosting the event, Dave Morrow, The Ryland Morrow Allstate Agency for serving as emcee, and to Thomas Canada, ECAR Board member for serving as moderator Eagle Echo's for running the concessions during the event.

Early voting begins August 10^th, and the primary will take place on August 20^th. It is an open primary, meaning that all registered voters are eligible to vote without regard to party affiliation.
