Dear Parishioners and Friends of St. Mary's,
This Saturday
is our next
Community Meal
and our chef has a great winter meal planned. So please come in out of the cold and join us for Chicken Pot Pie, rolls, salad, and dessert. This is a great opportunity to gather with friends old and new.
Please mark your calendar for our
Annual Meeting
, which is happening on
Sunday, January 26
. We will have
one 9:00 a.m. service
, followed by our parish wide Potluck Brunch and our meeting in the Great Hall. We will be celebrating our ministry of the past year, and discussing our music program, as well as next steps for our Capital Campaign process. We will also be adopting our annual budget for 2020 and electing vestry members, as well as delegates and alternate delegates to convention. This is a great way for find out what is happening in the parish most especially if you are new so please join us. There is a sign-up sheet for the pot luck in the Great Hall. Your presence is requested and All are Welcome!

Annual Parish Meeting and Brunch
The morning will begin with
a
single, combined Eucharist beginning at 9:00 a.m.

followed by a wonderful
pot-luck brunch, and then
the Annual Parish Meeting, beginning at approximately 10:45 a.m.
The brunch sign-up sheet is
posted in the
Great Hall.
Please
indicate
if you would like to prepare a dish, shop for additional items needed, or help with set-up and clean-up.
Make it a point to attend this year's meeting as we reflect on 2019, and look forward to great opportunities in 2020!

2020 Offering Envelopes
If you requested to receive offering envelopes by checking "yes" on your pledge card, your assigned box is now available for pick-up on the table in the back of church. If you didn't receive a box and would like one, please contact Amy in the parish office.

2020 Flower Chart
The 2020 Flower Chart is now posted. Members are encouraged to select a Sunday closest to a significant date in one's life, i.e. the anniversary of the death of a loved one or friend, a birthday or wedding anniversary, or perhaps on the occasion of blessings received, and underwrite that Sunday's flowers.
Donation amount is $30.

In January we begin our fourth year of offering a free meal on the third Saturday of every month! This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, share a night out with friends, or just stop in if you've had a busy day and don't feel like cooking. Let us do the work!! Remember, this meal is open to anyone, and no RSVP is required. Bring your family and friends! There is no
charge for the meal, but free-will donations are appreciated.
There are post cards available on a Narthex table with all the dates for 2020. The menu is posted on our website a week or two prior to the meal. If you'd like to volunteer to help, please contact Tracy Higgins.

Paper Please:
Donations of paper goods are greatly needed at the Crystal Lake Food Pantry.
The pantry is not able to buy paper goods through the food bank
, and clients are not able to use their SNAP benefits to purchase any paper goods such as
toilet paper
,
Kleenex
,
paper towels
, and
napkins
. Bring them to the church any time, and your Board members will get them over to the pantry.
Paper goods are items that are lightweight, easy to
carry and low cost that can be donated and will be appreciated by the clients
