From the Rector
Dear Parishioners and Friends of St. Mary's,
Please join us this Saturday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. for our next community meal. Turn your oven off in this heat and let us do the cooking. Chef Tom will be smoking BBQ pulled pork with some great sides. I know it will be another wonderful meal with great hospitality.
Thank you to all who attended the human rights vigil last Friday to protest the atrocities that are happening at our borders. We had about 14 people from St. Mary's at the vigil here in Crystal Lake, and I know others attended the vigils in Arlington Heights and in Chicago. Let us continue to stand against hatred and bigotry in all of its forms. The good news of the church is needed more now than ever and I thank you for stepping up.
Blessings,
Fran+
