Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on February 19 (full day) and February 21 (11:55 dimissal; no APS busing at this time).  Your child will receive an informational/sign-up sheet tomorrow or you may click the link below!

FACTS Tuition Assistance for 2019-2020  ACS participates in FACTS, a grant application program for our school. Completion of the FACTS application is a requirement for next year's enrollment if you are expecting a remaining balance at the end of the school year or you will be requesting tuition assistance. Families who wish to apply for tuition assistance will need to use the FACTS application format online at The application information will be easily accessible data from your 2018 tax return, along with financial accounts, and will require that copies of confirming tax documents be sent to the FACTS center.  The FACTS organization will analyze the information of each applicant. They will provide our school with recommended grant amounts based on need and financial status. Parents who have children in more than one of the participating schools need only to fill out the application one time-the information will be available to other Christian schools where their children attend. Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2019. The application fee will be paid by the participating schools.

I am already scheduling meetings with prospective families for next year. Additionally, we will have 1-2 nights in March where we have a Middle School Showcase. This will be an opportunity for current and future families to learn about the excellent academics, faith nurture, and extracurricular opportunities available in our growing middle school.
On Thursday, March 7, from 7-8pm, ACS will host a Middle School Showcase for current 5th grade families, as well as anyone from the community who has interest in the ACS Middle School. This event will highlight the academic, extracurricular, and faith nurture opportunities experienced by ACS middle school students. If you know of someone who is considering ACS, please let them know about this day and time. I would also love for you to pass any prospective names to me so that I can invite them.

We are looking for parents that might be interested in leading short term clubs after school for elementary or middle school students . If you have a passion or would like to hang out with kids for a few weeks (1-2 days a week), we would love to get you involved. Maybe it is a game club, chess club, robotics club, coding club, or something else that you enjoy. If you have an idea or an interest, please email me at We would love to keep building opportunities for ACS students! There may be staff members that are willing to help you organize and run the club as well.

Important Technology Use Awareness event : Do you know what apps are on your child's phone? What are the latest social media trends? Do you wonder about how to talk to kids about online pornography, limit screen time, and protect them from digital strangers? In the digital age, parents must be observant, engaged, and informed. Join the Protect Young Eyes team at ACS on Tuesday, February 12 from 6:30-8:30pm. We'll discuss digital realities, strategies, and practical solutions that will enlighten, equip and encourage parents who want to teach their children how to use technology responsibly. The talk will include specific recommendations for filters and detailed explanations of popular apps and parental controls. This group presents all over the US, and they will be at ACS, in cooperation with Allendale, Borculo, Jenison, and Lamont Christian Schools. This is a don't miss event! Allendale Christian School will be hosting its 12th annual 3-on-3 basketball tournament on Saturday, March 23, at Allendale High School! There will be divisions for boys and girls for each grade level in 3rd through 8th grade. Please visit for more details and the registration form. We hope to see you there!

Instant Trip is held every  Tuesday  night from  7:00-7:30pm  with a pick-up ONLY sessions every  Wednesday  morning from  8:30-9:00am.  In order for us to run this program we need at least three volunteers at each session  on Tuesday  night and one volunteer every  Wednesday  morning. Champion Force Cheerleading registration and first class begins February 4!  Classes are held every Monday for 45 minutes for approximately 16 weeks.  Class times are as follows: ages 4-6 @ 6:30pm
