A Message from The Principal
Mrs. Boissonneau with a few of her AP Biology Students test out our brand new science equipment!

Dear Parents,

Over the next week, students will be receiving their preliminary course schedules for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. In addition to our numerous course offerings, we are excited to introduce two new technology electives. Computer Science Principles will introduce students to the foundational concepts of computer science and challenges them to explore how computing and technology can impact the world. Engineering I will explore the areas of mechanical, civil, and electrical engineering principles using the engineering design process. Topics may include computer programming, robotics, wind and solar energy. In addition we are also exploring the expansion of our dual enrollment partnership with Stonehill College. We are so excited to be able to offer many expanded opportunities for our students. Thank you for your continued support. We are looking forward to an exciting year ahead!

Sincerely,
Kathleen St.Laurent

A Note From Campus Ministry
The season of Lent began on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, with Ash Wednesday and continues through Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019. Lent is the great season during which we prepare to celebrate the paschal mystery (the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and our participation in it) and the great feast of Easter. During this penitential season, we are more attentive to prayer and the word of God as we prepare ourselves for the renewal of our baptismal promises at Easter. There is also an emphasis on fasting and almsgiving during the 40 days of Lent. Our school will participate in Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowl , to show our solidarity with those who are hungry in our world.

Some additional Lenten resources include:

Lenten Morning Prayer
Every morning during Lent at 7:25 a.m. in the high school foyer from March 6th through April 12th, a member from our school’s community will offer a daily prayer reflection. All will be invited to pin a Lenten prayer intention or a Lenten sacrifice to the large wooden cross in the foyer during this prayer experience. As a school community during these next six weeks, we will watch these prayer intentions and sacrifices grow. Please let Mrs. Payson know if you would like to read, sing or play an instrument during Lenten morning prayer.
Clean Out Your Closets and Donate to Christ’s Closet Located in the High School Campus Ministry Office!
Gently used teen clothing donations for Christ’s Closet can be dropped off in the Campus Ministry Office at any time. Clothes will be given to Teen Closet of Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless.
