We're bringing back our cookie decorating kits and will give you everything you need to create a masterpiece that even Chef Gordon Ramsay would approve of! Each decorating kit will include 5 sugar cookies, frosting and sprinkles to help you create the jack-o-latern or spooky ghost at home. A new group combining everything you loved from ‘Let’s Talk About R.A.C.E. & L.G.B.Teens & Queens’ rolled into one! Open to all Bristol high school students (ages 14 -18) who are passionate about advocating for change within their community and schools and explore issues that directly affect them. Learn More

Spooky Eats: Halloween Dinner for (Adults) Ghouls & Goblins 
Thursday 10/28 - 6:00 - 7:00 pm

Sharpen your knife skills, learn new time saving techniques, and create a delicious themed dish in this one hour class. Ingredients will be delivered to your door (or picked up from the Bristol Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services office) so you can cook along as you watch and learn how to create healthy entrees for the entire family and even desserts! The BEST Coalition visited the Pequabuck River Duck Race over the weekend in preparation of National Drug Takeback Day on October 31st.
BILINGUAL REC N READ
In partnership with the City of Bristol Arts and Culture Commission, the first Bilingual Rec N Read opened at Brackett Park on September 22nd!
AQUATICS STAFF RECIEVE AWARD
Aquatics staff members' Lindsey Majors, Sophia Gomez, Madison Shea, and Raelynne Andrews were presented the Certificate of Extraordinary Personal Action, awarded to Red Cross trained individuals who step up in an emergency situation and help save or sustain a life.
