A Message from Pastor Davis

HE IS RISEN! HE IS RISEN INDEED! ALLELUIA! AMEN! It is the resurrection response that we get to proclaim to the world. The journey to the tomb is filled with trials, tribulations and a death on a cross. The life of Christ ended on Good Friday at Golgotha but we know the rest of the story! He rises from the dead. Sins paid for in the shedding of His blood and death conquered in the resurrection. His words from the cross are true! "It is finished!" The salvation of mankind is complete in the works of Christ. We proclaim our salvation when we proclaim, "He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed! Amen! Alleluia!"

Mark 16:6 – “And he said to them, ‘Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; He is not here.’ ” Jesus is risen, but is that Good News? What if He is mad at us for betraying Him, for running away at Gethsemane, for not believing He would rise? The Good News is not just that Jesus is risen; the Good News is that He is risen to bless us. There is no need to be alarmed. He still calls us His friends and brothers and means to bring us through death to resurrection as well. The Lord is risen — He is risen indeed

A Message from Kim Mall-TLA Director

I would like to share that our dear colleague, Heaven, is currently facing some unexpected car troubles from an accident she had that has made her daily commute quite challenging. As many of you know, she gives her all every single day and now she could really use our support.

Heaven has created a GoFundMe page to help with the cost of fixing her car. If you feel led to contribute or even just share the link, it would mean the world to her. Every little bit helps!

Coffee Hour Volunteers Needed

The BCS would like to invite you to take a Sunday and host coffee hour. It does not need to be fancy and only a couple of items are needed. It is nice to have a bite to eat as we socialize with our church friends. Harry takes care of all aspects of the coffee- set up and clean up. There is a yearlong sign-up sheet on the door in the Gathering Room. If you have any questions, please talk to a BCS member. Thank you for considering this fun opportunity.

Aluminum Can Recycling

This is a reminder that Trinity recycles aluminum cans (drink cans only). The receptacles are located in the fenced area behind the Fellowship Hall kitchen. You can’t miss it - there is a sign posted on the gate - just toss your bagged cans (squash them if you can, but it’s ok if you can’t). Proceeds go to Trinity Youth Group.
