FAMILY PROMISE FUNDRAISER

Family Promise f/n/as Interfaith Hospitality Network of Athens is a non-profit organization that provides shelter, food, and emergency services to families with children facing the crisis of homelessness. Trinity Lutheran is a supporting congregation for this program. Family Promise is asking Trinity to help by donating the following items: paper towels,, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, Clorox wipes, Lysol/Disinfecting spray, dryer sheets, hand sanitizer, diapers, baby wipes, toothpaste, bar soap, lotion, shampoo/body wash, hair brushes or combs, nail clippers, and chapstick.  I will be collecting these items for Family Promise until October 2. Please bring in these items and put them in the Gathering Room. The Family Promise office is open, if you wish to drop off your items directly, however, you should call first to be sure there is someone in the office to receive your donation. On October 2 there will be a short presentation at both services by Clyde Whitworth, Chief Impact Officer for Family Promise. I will be a hosting Fellowship and there will be a collection basket in the Gathering Room, if you would like to donate money to Family Promise. If you have any questions, please contact Jo-Ann Thorne; 706-202-2740.
