Sunday Morning Divine Service
6th Sunday in Easter
Mother's Day
The 6th Sunday of Easter is the last Sunday that we celebrate the presence of Christ here on earth after the resurrection. On Thursday, May 18th is Ascension day. It is 40 days after Easter. We will recognize Ascension day on Easter 7, May 21st. Today we hear about Christ's relationship to the Father but we also have some of the first references to the coming of the Holy Spirit. He is preparing His disciples for Pentecost and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit as tongues of fire come upon the disciples and they are dipsersed throughout the world proclaiming Christ crucified and resurrected.

Thank you to everyone for your well wishes, prayers, and support during my journey with multiple myeloma. Transplant went great and all reports are positive. I truly felt God holding my hand and heard and answered all prayers.
I am so proud to be a member of the Trinity family.
God bless,

VBS June 5th - 9th
Vacation Bible School
This year's VBS will be held June 5-9 from 9 a.m. until noon. We will be using the Group Publishing program "Stellar VBS - Shining Jesus' Light." Children will rotate among stations including Sing and Play Blastoff, Bible Adventures, Imagination Station, All Star Games, Galactic Snacks, Kid Vid Cinema, and Cosmic Closing, learning how Jesus' light can help us in all circumstances of life. They will meet a daily Bible Buddy, learn a daily Bible Point, find God Sightings all around them, and participate in singing about Jesus' light.
All children between ages 3 (if potty-trained) and the completion of 5th grade are welcome. Please click on the following registration form (or pick forms up in the church office or gathering room) to register your child(ren).
Volunteers are also very welcome, including teens! If you can help, please email Ruth Wietbrock, VBS Director, at rwietbrock@aol.com. All volunteers 18 years of age and older will need to have a background check for TLA, including being fingerprinted. You will be given details of the process (free and easy) when you have indicated your desire to volunteer. Financial donations are also very much appreciated to make this a wonderful experience for all.
