Childcare  

School is not held on those two days, but childcare during your conference is available for your Thacher student while you attend your conference. No reservation required.

UE and AP Basketball Registration Open

Mondays (November 18 - February 10)

Upper Elementary Co-ed Basketball

UE boys and girls will participate in the Montessori Athletic Conference.

Tuesdays, (November 12 - February 11)

6th - 8th Grade Boys Basketball

Boys will participate in the Montessori Athletic Conference.

Wednesdays, (November 13 - February 12)

6th - 8th Grade Girls Basketball

Girls will participate in the CBL.

Please note - registration will be closing on October 25. Please sign up early.

  

Book Fair - Save the Date

Librarian Kim Storch will be hosting a book fair during parent/guide conferences on October 31st and November 1st.

Students are excited about gardening this year, so Sally is looking for more terra cotta pots. If you have any extras, please drop them off at the front desk.



Thacher Family Diversity Potluck Gathering

Hosted at the home of Jenny Miller & Hilary Noble on 10/26 | 5 - 7pm

The Thacher Family Diversity Committee is a celebration of the people who bring a multitude of cultures and experiences that make up our school community.  We are interested in organizing opportunities beyond the school day where we can connect with one another to socialize, educate, and celebrate that which makes us who we are. Whether organizing weekend trips to concerts or festivals, or sharing our own customs, meals, music, and festivities, we seek to enrich the lives of our families by coming together to build and rejoice in both what makes us unique and brings us together. 

We are holding a potluck gathering for all interested families on Saturday, October 26, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the home of Jenny Miller and Hilary Noble. RSVP below

Base Camp during Parent Conferences

Thacher's Parent Council is partnering with New England Base Camp for Thacher School Days off on 10/30, 10/31, and 11/1 of 2019. Ages 5 and up.

Students will enjoy the facilities at the Camp located on Unquity Road (5 minutes from Thacher). Programs included are: nature activities, STEM programming, crafts (basket making, weaving, arts, etc.).

Fee is $40 a day per Child (8:30am - 3:30pm) or $100 for all three days.

Find Thacher Families at Houghton's Pond

Head on over to Houghton's Pond after school on sunny Fridays this Fall to let your kids run on the playground and splash at the sandy beach with their friends. You get to hang out with Thacher parents and friends! See you there!
