A Note from Deba

Dear Families,

Another beautiful weekend in New England presents itself, and we are fortunate to have an extra day as we acknowledge Monday as Indigenous Peoples Day. I hope you take a moment to reflect on those who called these lands home long before our ancestors arrived. The Indigenous Peoples of the Americas held, and still do, hold a deep respect for their relationship with the Earth. Take time this weekend to find your connection to this beautiful land.

Have a peaceful weekend. I am looking forward to welcoming the students back on Tuesday.

Daniela and Kirsten both have sons in Children's House and are looking forward to getting to know other Thacher parents.
