Children's House and Lower Elementary. -

Parent-Child Day - 11/8

This is a wonderful opportunity to see your child at work in their classroom. Children's House and Lower Elementary parents are welcome to visit their children for approximately one hour.

Children's House Morning Schedule

Parents with last names beginning A to L should arrive at 8:30 am. Parents with last names beginning M to Z should arrive at 10:00 am.

Lower Elementary Afternoon Schedule

Parents with last names beginning A to L should arrive at 12:30 pm. Parents with last names beginning M to Z should arrive at 1:30 pm.

Town Hall Strategic Planning Session - 11/20 @ 5:30 pm

Thacher Montessori School is updating our Strategic Plan and we welcome your input. We are holding a Town Hall Planning Session on November 20 at 5:30 pm and everyone is invited to participate. Read more....

Food and Toy Drive - 11/4 - 12/13

Thacher families are welcome to support our food and/or toy drive that starts on Monday and runs until December 7.

Non-perishable food and unwrapped, new toys will be collected in donation boxes located in the front lobby. Students are planning to deliver the food to the Greater Boston Food Bank. Toys for Tots will pick up gifts on December 13.

Guided by Sensei Sarah Hanley of One Step Beyond Martial Arts Training Center (OSB)

Students will train in an eclectic style of martial arts known as TAMA (total approach to Martial Arts).

Drop-off Clarification

Only students in the Adolescent Program may exit their car in the morning unescorted. All other children should wait until a member of our staff approaches your car (even if you are parked next to the sidewalk.)

We appreciate that parents want to help help, but drop-off runs smoother and safer if adults remain in the car. Our staff greeters are there to help your children out of your vehicle.

Children and adults should remain in vehicle.

Fruit Center Marketplace School Giveback - 11/4 - 11/10

The Fruit Center Marketplace in Milton is hosting their school giveback program the week of November 4 through November 10. Twenty percent of all purchases will be donated to Thacher if you show them the voucher below. Use your smart phone and show them this email or print the voucher.
