Community Basketball League Champions

Thacher girls defeated the Boston Teachers Union School of Dorchester to give them three straight championships and finished the season with a perfect record. 

The boy's team (a joint effort with players from Delphi Academy) defeated the Patrick Lyndon Pilot School of West Roxbury capping off an undefeated season as well. 

Congratulations to coach Todd Sullivan and to all of our young athletes!

Thacher Science Fair - Judges Needed

Welcome Kelly Cannon

Please join us in welcoming Kelly Cannon who is working as UEB Assistant during Rachael's maternity leave.

Along with her positive energy, Kelly brings lots of teaching experience, particularly in environmental education. She recently developed a garden education program at the Boston Nature Center.



Base Camp for Kids

Thacher's Parent Council is partnering with New England Base Camp for Thacher School days off on February 14 & 15. Students ages 5 and up are welcome to participate.

Students will enjoy the facilities at the Camp located on Unquity Road (5 minutes from Thacher). It may be cold and the weather might be wet, so the program is both indoors and outdoors. They have a skating rink and many hiking trails for students to enjoy.

Programs included are: nature activities, STEM programming, crafts (basket making, weaving, arts, etc.). The cost is $40 a day per child (8:00-3:30).
