A Note from the Head of School
Dear Families,
I hope this Notes Home finds you healthy and finding a new workable routine for your family. It feels like a long time even though it has only been two weeks since the close of school, of students and parents learning to work from home, and the continuation of the “social distancing” period of this pandemic.
This past Monday you should have received the second correspondence from your child(ren)’s guide including “work from home” suggestions or requirements appropriate to their level. The elementary and adolescent levels are already exchanging thoughts, ideas, and work through Google Classroom. The children were so happy to be able reconnect!
Thank you for your patience as we determine the logistics (and developmental appropriateness) of offering electronic meetings, via platforms like Zoom, with the children. In the next day,
you should receive a parental consent form allowing your child to participate virtually with their classroom guide and peers. This consent document will be sent directly to your parent portal via Transparent Classroom. Parents must consent in order for children to participate in online meetings with their guide and classmates.
Looking forward to taking these next steps in our virtual learning process together!
In partnership,
Deba
