All School Music Concert | Saturday, 4/27

The All School Music Concert is Saturday, April 27th at 10:00am in the Thacher gym. The theme of this year’s concert is “Artistry and Genius” and features the work of three insightful and consequential women songwriters: Joni Mitchell, Alessia Cara, and Malvina Reynolds.

If, for some reason, you are unable to make it Saturday, you are welcome to observe our in-school dress rehearsal on Thursday, April 25th at 9:00am in the gym.

If you wish to help out by bringing refreshments or setting up equipment, please email Victor at [email protected]. Also, truly, feel free to email with any question whatsoever.

Dress for creativity, comfort and celebration.

Dismissal Reminder

As we strive to improve the flow of vehicles for an efficient dismissal routine, we ask that families not arrive at Thacher until their allotted 15-minute pick-up period.

When a significant number of families arrive prior to their dismissal time, parents of the lower-grade children are often blocked and delayed. We’ve also seen the line of cars back up onto Blue Hill Ave - causing a public safety concern. For the safety of our children, it is imperative that parents remain in their car and not pull over on Route 138 to park on the grassy area at the top of the driveway. If you do find yourself arriving at Thacher before your dismissal time, please use the Trailside Parking Lot to wait until your dismissal time begins.
M. Seyller Elected to AMS Commission

Congratulations to Assistant Head of School, Michelle Seyller, who was elected to serve a three-year term on the American Montessori Society's School Accreditation Commission.

Michelle will serve with nine other commissioners from around the country defining standards that promote the highest quality Montessori principles for Montessori schools nationwide.

Spring means its Yearbook time again! A great way to remember your child’s year at Thacher, purchase your book today at treering.com. Take advantage of the two free custom pages printed exclusively in your book.

If your child is graduating, rising, or just did an amazing job this year you can purchase a celebratory ad. The deadline for ordering Celebratory Ad is May 1 - the ads are published in all copies of the book.
