To recap Deba's letter regarding the Solar Eclipse, all students will receive a pair of CE/ISO Certified Safe Shades to bring home on Monday, April 8.

Since this eclipse occurs during dismissal, we understand that some families will want to pick up their children early that day. Please contact your classroom teacher if your child will be dismissed early and follow the pickup schedule below.

11:00 -11:15 am - All Children's House

11:15 - 11:30 am - LE

11:30 - 11:45 am - UE

11:45 - 12:00 pm - MS and Toddlers

Younger students will be dismissed at the older siblings' dismissal time except for:

Let's Show Our School Spirit on Spirit Day!

Spirit Day is an opportunity for us to show our pride and celebrate everything that makes Thacher special.

Whether it's a Thacher t-shirt, hoodie, hat, or any other piece of spirit wear you have, encourage your children to wear it proudly on Wednesday, April 10.

Stop by the Scholastic Book Fair in the Aftercare room from 8:30 to 3:00 p.m. We'll have a diverse selection of books suitable for all ages, from preschool to young adult. Profits support our school library.

The book fair is open to all families and friends. Feel free to drop in even if you don't have an in-person conference scheduled for Thursday or Friday.

Appointments will be available all day Thursday and Friday, April 11 and 12. 

Free childcare during your 30-minute conference will be available for Thacher students only. Childcare hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Thacher's Family Network will partner with New England Base Camp for Thacher School days off.

Last call sign-up for NE Basecamp for next week - April 11 and 12. To be available, a minimum number of children must register for each date.

The Camp is for children ages five and up. During these days, students will enjoy the facilities at the Camp located on Unquity Road (5 minutes from Thacher). The programs include nature activities, STEM programming, crafts, and more.

The cost is $50 a day per child (9:00 - 3:15), and students must bring snacks and lunch. Please register early!

Everyone is invited. Head over to Houghton's Pond after school on Fridays to let your kids run and play. Thacher families are usually there from 2:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
