Welcome new and returning families to the first full week of school! I'm excited to see you and your children, and we look forward to a year of partnership and engagement in support of their growth.
As you've driven on campus, I hope you noticed, not only the newly painted school but, the new landscaping. These improvements are the first of a three-year project to expand the
Arielle Da Costa Memorial Gardens. We are also preparing for the celebration of 50 years of Thacher Montessori School coming up in 2021.
The guides have prepared themselves and their classrooms to stimulate the intellectual curiosity of your children. Always feel free to reach out to Michelle, me, or your guide with questions to continue forging a strong partnership between school and home. I also encourage you to participate in as many school activities as your schedule allows. Events such as potluck dinners, curriculum review, looking at the next level for your child - all will prove beneficial in deepening your understanding of the unique and stimulating environment Thacher offers.
