A Note from the Head of School
Dear Thacher Community,
Our entire staff want to thank you for working with us to make the start of this school year so successful. I am just sorry that you cannot see, firsthand, the peaceful, focused work of your children in their beautifully prepared classrooms and in our wonderful outdoor environment. We will continue to send pictures!
Our all staff community is undertaking very important Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) work this year, and I want to share my note that I sent to them today. Our Thacher Diversity Committee, co-chaired by Nikki Toon and Asha Park-Carter, will be instrumental in facilitating the work of our staff, as we grow and deepen our understanding of systemic racism and begin our work for social justice.
