We were thrilled and honored to have Maureen Coughlan, Thacher Montessori Founder, visit us this week. Maureen observed classrooms and connected with staff. The students were eager to interact with Maureen, sharing work and conversation. Maureen gave a "big thumbs up" to the beauty of the rooms and the outstanding instruction provided to students.

On another note, we returned the Thacher tradition in acknowledging Thursday's International Day of Peace. Students and staff gathered outside in a joyous community celebration to send Peace and Love to each other and out into the World. 

School Picture Day starts at 8:30 on Tuesday, Sept. 26. All students will have a portrait and all-class photo taken and receive free copies.

Afterschool Care Enrichment is back. Online registration is now open. Students attending After Care on the day of a program will receive a discounted rate. Attendance is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

All School Picnic | Canceled

While it's not ideal, the Welcome Back Picnic scheduled for Sunday is canceled. Although the weather has not cooperated for this event, we can look forward to other events planned this year.

All parents are invited to join the Thacher Montessori Parents Facebook group. The group's goal is for parents to have a space to share resources, ask questions, and support each other in the community. Join today!
