Where People Moved in 2022
A new study released by the National Association of REALTORS® reveals Spokane is among the most desired locations to move since the beginning of the pandemic.
Between 2019 and 2022 – Spokane saw an increase in the number of people moving here by over 30%.
That’s high enough to rank Spokane 6th in the country, and 2nd on the West Coast behind Colorado Springs, CO.

Who Can Engage in
Short Sale Negotiations?
Washington Realtors® Legal Hotline lawyer Annie Fitzsimmons is back to answer the question: who can engage in short sale negotiations?
A person can engage in a short sale if the total lien against their property is greater than what they can generate from the sale of the property.

Realtor.com offers its
Housing Forecast 2023
Spokane/Spokane Valley
2023 Price Growth: 9.6%
Realtor.com is just out with its Housing Forecast for 2023. Here's what it offers . . .
For home-buyers: There will be some things for buyers to look forward to in 2023. There will be more homes for sale, homes will likely take longer to sell, and buyers will not face the extreme competition that was commonplace over the past few years.
For home-sellers: Home sellers should know that fewer buyers are expected to be shopping for a home in 2023, as high home prices and mortgage rates cause some would-be buyers to delay purchase plans. As a result, sellers can expect more competition from other for-sale listings, longer sale timelines, and more negotiation with buyers.
