A Bylaws Presidential Advisory Group (PAG) was formed in 2019 to look at the SAR Bylaws and recommend changes to them so that we only have what is required by NAR, state law and recommendations by our legal counsel included.
The majority of the current Bylaws that show deleted in the redline copy have been moved to the Policies of the SAR, a new working document.
We are providing it here for information purposes only.

NEW!
Starting Monday of this week, employees at businesses statewide must wear face coverings at work, due to Governor
Jay Inslee's
Safe Start plan.
A person's workplace determines which kind of face covering s/he should wear from reusable cloth masks to N95 respirators, and the state Department of Labor & Industries released
guidance on how industries can provide the appropriate face coverings to their employees (pictured above).
For example, mechanics working at a shop can wear a reusable cloth face covering, while kitchen workers in restaurants should wear disposable masks, such as dust masks or non-certified surgical style masks.
Employers are required to provide employees with face coverings.
Spokane County is ending its third week of Phase 2, but it will likely not be the last.
Despite all the surrounding counties entering Phase 3 of the governor's Safe Start plan, Spokane County still has too high of a disease burden to meet the requirements to move ahead, although not all requirements need to be met to apply.
Spokane Not Yet Ready For Phase Three Of Reopening, Says Health Officer.
Listen to a one-minute report about our Safe Start status from Spokane Public Radio, online here.
2020 SAR President Tom Clark visited the SAR, last week, to see how the re-opening of the association's physical office space is coming along.
All necessary signage, distance markers, hand sanitizer, and Plexiglas panels are in place to ensure member, staff, and guest safety.
During his visit, he recorded a short video to offer an update on several upcoming items, including our Quarterly Meetings and SAR Golf Tournament.
His video runs about two-minutes, and is online here:
