Way to go Battle of the Books Team 2017!!!!!! They made it to the finals and placed 10th overall. Awesome job guys! All of your hard work this year paid off at the competition. Our Battle of the Books team 2017 was comprised of the following students: Yasmine Noureddine, Alan An, Raleigh Young, Rahi Patel, Bethel Choi, Victor Vlad, Gram Kerley, Marcus Woodell, Hana Arshad, Trey Ruth, Nadia Noureddine, and Caroline DeLellis.
These students were the best All County Chorus group ever! They worked hard for two days with no complaints. They only said how much fun they were having and then performed a beautiful concert: Chelsea Council, Maisyn Frey, Grayson Reyes, Dash Richards, and Jake Wear.

The spring Go Far race is May 6th. Training will start Monday, March 20th after school. K-2 is a 1 mile race and 3-5 is a 5K. If you are interested in joining the ORES Go Far team for spring, please request an informational flyer from the school office or your teacher or download

Started as a trial in March 2016 (after the success of the chess tables at Math Mania night) with only 20 sets
and 50 students, we have grown to over 85 members. We have constantly been at-capacity each week
(limited by number of chess sets and volunteers).
Please read our guidelines and rules for Chess Club. Students must be registered to attend Chess Club. If your student is not registered, they will not be allowed through the security doors before the morning bell and into the Chess Club meetings. If you have any questions or concerns, email us. Join us for the first ever Greensboro SWARM night, Friday, March 31st at 7pm. Tickets are only $8.00
(pre-order price, walk up ticket price is $10.00). The game is at the Greensboro Coliseum Fieldhouse and its Maine Red Claws VS Greensboro SWARM. There will be block seating, a group photo, post-game autographs with full SWARM team, AND our students will perform during halftime, AND the 5th Grade Chorale will perform
