Dear Meher Center Family and Friends,

Greetings in Meher Baba’s love to you and your family. 

This past weekend, the Center hosted thirty-four young people for our annual Young Adult Sahavas. To give you a flavor of the event, in this offering we are featuring some of what took place during this joyful time.

Explaining the meaning of Sahavas, in February 1958 at Meherabad, Baba said: "Sahavas means the give-and-take of love. I am the only Beloved, and you all are my lovers; or, I am the only Lover and you all are my beloveds!"

Continuing, Baba said, "Sahavas is the intimacy of give-and-take between lovers. It is not necessary to explain this give-and-take of the lover and the Beloved. To create an atmosphere of explanations and discourses is to mar the dignity of love which is established only in the closest of intimacy."*

In this sweet and inspiring talk given in the Barn, Wendy Connor shares a “potpourri” of stories and quotes with young adult Sahavasees. She talks about her time at the East-West Gathering with Baba; the shining example of Baba’s Eastern and Western lovers; and, always, the constant blessed work of remembering and pleasing God.
