"My center is the heart of every lover.

Every lover with a heart that loves Baba is a center."

Meher Baba

At Meher Center, 1956

Dear Meher Center Family and Friends,

We are coming up on the joyous occasion of the birthday of Avatar Meher Baba on February 25th. This will mark Baba's 131st birth anniversary. We have many celebrations planned at the Center. Please check out our weekly calendar for more details.

On December 11th, 1968 Baba dictated this message for His 75th birthday the following year (25 Feb 1969), but Adi was instructed not to print it and circulate it until after January. This would be His last birthday message in this physical form: “To love me for what I may give you is not loving me at all. To sacrifice anything in my cause to gain something for yourself is like a blind man sacrificing his eyes for sight. I am the Divine Beloved worthy of being loved because I am Love. He who loves me because of this will be blessed with unlimited sight and will see me as I am.”*

Happy Birthday, Beloved Meher Baba!

In Meher Baba's love and service,

Buz Connor

The New Life: Then and Now

Part Six

In the last session of this series, Ward Parks wraps up this in-depth series on Baba's New Life. He focuses on the Free Life and its three phases: the Complicated Free Life, the Full Free Life, and the Fiery Free Life. He goes over Baba's messages in His Life circulars and the declaration of His Avatarhood while interspersing reflections on this unique period along the way.

"Keep concentrating on Baba"

Mehera Irani was Baba's closest female disciple, whose life will stand as a testament on how best to love Him throughout time. In this audio clip, Mehera discusses meditation. She talks about the difficulties of focusing a mind that hasn't yet seen God. She says that Baba rarely asked her and the other women to meditate, but goes on to share a story of Baba tasking her and a few other women in the early days at Meherabad to meditate on His photo.
