Dear Meher Center Family and Friends,
This week, we remember Mehera, Meher Baba's closest female disciple who reunited with her Beloved on May 20th, 1989. About Mehera, Baba said, "She is my very breath without which I cannot live." Mehera exemplifies how we should love Baba and hold on to Him. Once she said, "Always hold on to Baba's daaman and love Him, that is the one real thing you can do in this life. Baba may seem to try to snatch His daaman from your hands, but be sure not to let go, be sure to hold on tightly. Be true to His love for you."*
We are excited to host a musical that is written and directed by Joe DiSabatino, with original songs by Kath Whedon, called Trail of Tears: Hollywood to Prague with Meher Baba. This musical is being performed to commemorate Meher Baba's automobile accident in America. It will be performed on May 23rd and 24th from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Meeting Place. Reservations will begin today for nearby community. Please call or text Jane Mossman at 843-222-0858 between 9 a.m and 5 p.m. Overnight guests do not need reservations. The performance is not appropriate for children under 10 years of age. Thank you for your cooperation.
Tomorrow, Rich Blum will be making a presentation called Meher Baba's Explanations of Meditation. Please click here for program details and times.
We look forward to seeing you there!
In Baba’s love and service,
