"My center is the heart of every lover.

Every lover with a heart that loves Baba is a center."

Dear Meher Center Family and Friends,

Greetings from Meher Center!

Just a reminder that we are now taking reservations for the silence day period, if you are planning to be here for the 100th anniversary of Baba's silence, please call or email the Gateway to reserve your accommodations exactly two months in advance. Registration is open for Youth Sahavas which will be taking place from July 22nd to the 27th. Please sign up here.

We are also working on offering a new virtual program with Meher Baba scholar, Ward Parks. While some of you may have attended his seminars at the Center or other parts of the world, this would give you a chance to be part of an ongoing series with him from the comfort of your home. Please stay tuned for more information.

Lastly, chai is now served at 3 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays at the Original Kitchen instead of 3:30 p.m.

Baba said, "My work is different. It is not my work to travel continuously and hold darshan programs simply to allow people to bow down at my feet. It is not my work to give long discourses, to perform miracles, or to attract crowds to me. I do not come for this. I come for all; I come to awaken all!”*

In Baba's love and service,

Meher Baba in Spain

A Presentation by Christopher Wilson

Meher Baba singled out Saint Teresa of Avila (1515-1582) as one of His favorite

Western saints, and as a model of how to love Him. In October 1933, He took a

group of His Eastern and Western disciples to visit places associated with her

life in Avila, saying “I am so happy here.” In this presentation, Christopher begins with an overview of the life of St. Teresa, moving along to share details about Meher Baba's time spent in Spain visiting the sites associated with her life. Accompanied by photographs, letters and in-depth explanations, the presentation is informative and brimming with love for the Beloved.

"I felt this wave of love come from

Baba to me..." Part 1

Ann Conlon wittily recounts how she missed her first opportunity to meet Baba in 1958 and her subsequent longing and regret. And then, in 1961 was given an unexpectedly opportunity to travel to India. Despite seemingly insurmountable obstacles at work, the passport office and the airlines she finally got to meet Baba. She called it her “fairytale.”
