Our waiver process is moving forward. We have an appointment this afternoon with a public health department nurse to go over our plan. I will let you know as soon as possible when we are approved and what date the opening might take place.
Progress reports were mailed on Friday for TK through 3rd grades. For 4th through 8th grade they will be available for you to access on the Portals this afternoon. Please reach out to your child’s teacher(s) if you have questions.
The Pumpkin Patch is this Friday and spaces are full. We have had trouble getting volunteers to help and so we have been unable to open up to more hours. Please remember that we continue to need help and those on volunteer tuition plans still need to try their best to do their hours. We may not be billing for hours, but that does not mean we do not need help, especially PTO. PTO is trying to build community and plan safe and fun activities for our students but they cannot do it without your help.
Please, please, please, if you have had any exposure to Covid-19, directly or indirectly, do not come to the Pumpkin Patch. We have put every precaution we know to make certain that this is a safe event but we cannot control what you do on your own time. However, do not come if there is even a chance that you have been exposed. Everything, including the re-opening of school, is dependent on us doing this safely. Thank you.
I loved Kindness Week last week and seeing the activities that came from the hearts of our students. Let’s keep the kindness going for the whole year. Or even for forever!
Pumpkin pictures must be submitted by October 29th at 3pm. Contest will run from October 30-31st.
