Important Return to Campus Reminders
  • If your family is planning to travel or visit extended family for Thanksgiving, your child will need to quarantine for two weeks upon return from travel.
  • If your child is experiencing any of the following symptoms ever so slightly, please keep them home!

Flu Shot Clinic
This Wednesday, November 18th between 8am and 10am at Holy Angel Hall. No appointment needed. Ages 9 and up. Limited supply, so please come early. Wear a mask, and preferably a shirt with short sleeves. 

Last chance for Flu Shot! St Philip PTO and Huntington Hospital are teaming up for one last opportunity to get your free flu shot! 
What to Know This Flu Season
Flu and COVID-19 are both contagious respiratory illnesses, but they are caused by different viruses. While it’s not possible to say what will happen, it’s likely that flu viruses and the virus that causes COVID-19 will both spread this fall and winter.

Protect yourself, your family, and your community against flu this fall and winter by getting a flu vaccine. Also follow other CDC recommendations to protect yourself from both flu and COVID-19.

Tuition and Withdrawal
If a student is withdrawing during the school year, the school office is to be notified prior to the last day of attendance by written notification. Your family is still responsible for the full tuition amount, and fees must be paid before the last day of attendance to avoid delay in forwarding school records.

Christmas Story Contest
To celebrate the Christmas season Student Council will sponsor the 12 Days of Christmas Stories contest!

Tk-2nd grade is asked to submit an original Christmas drawing. 3rd-8th grade is asked to submit an original Christmas Story. The story should be no more than a page and a half in length typed.

Please email all submissions to Mrs. Slater or Ms. Yanish by November 16th. The top 12 drawings and story winners, starting December 1st will be shared for 12 days leading up to our Christmas break.

Our faculty and staff are excited to invite our school families to a drive-thru experience of The Polar Express.

Put on your pajamas and hop in the car!

Families will stay in the car and stop at 4 stations for some fun surprises.
Helping Hands
Helping Hands reaches out to school families in need of assistance due to hardship. If you are interested in helping, gift cards can be dropped off/ mailed to the school office to the attention of PTO Helping Hands, or email to ptohelpinghands@stphiliptheapostle.org

Order your Holiday Meals!
PTO is happy to announce Holiday Meal purchases from NOOR Catering!

The meals can be purchased for Thanksgiving or for any Holiday Party. The dinners start at $299 and contain everything you need for a perfect Thanksgiving or Holiday celebration including a delicious Organic 12 lb Oven Roasted Turkey plus options for vegetarians. Choose from sides such as organic Garlic Mashed Potatoes or red Roasted Potatoes. The meal comes with Seasonally Fresh Roasted Mini Vegetables, Organic Harvest Stuffing, Cranberry Sauce, Gravy, Choice of Salad, Dessert, and Bread and Butter. There are add-ons available for additional cost such as Hors D'Oeuvres, beer and wine.  The meals are delivered and ready to heat up.  Lunch options are also available and arrive ready to eat with a minimum order of $250.00.

Orders must be placed by Friday, November 20, 2020 for Thanksgiving. Orders must be placed six days prior to delivery date. The only date not available for delivery is Christmas Day.

Thanksgiving Food Drive
We need your help in achieving our goal to help the Society of St. Vincent de Paul feed 50 parish families! Our annual school-wide Thanksgiving food collection ends this Friday, 11/20.

Procare App
A few notes for our on-campus families using the Procare app.

  • Please do not send messages through the Procare app. Contact your child(ren)'s teacher or the main office to leave a message.

  • Parents must sign in their child every morning and sign out every afternoon on the Procare app. The app will not allow you to sign in your child, if you do not sign out the previous day.

  • If a child is being picked up after school by someone other than their guardian, that person must be on the school Carpool list and Procare's Authorized Pick-Up.
  • If a child is being picked up during school hours by someone other than their guardian, a note from their guardian must be brought to the school office.
Grandparents to Receive the Newsletter and Falcon Wrap-Up
If you would like your child's grandparents to receive the Weekly Newsletter or the Monthly Falcon Wrap-Up, please fill out this form so that we can include them. Thank you very much!

Present over Perfect
POP on over and say Hi!

The members of Present Over Perfect (POP) are inviting you to stop by and learn more about this parish women’s ministry after mass on November 22. Chat with current members, learn about what happens during a POP meeting, and receive a gift from us (while supplies last) to help to prepare your hearts for the season of Advent.

You are also invited to save the date for Thursday Dec. 3 for POP’s Open House where you are invited to join us for an online meeting where we will dive more into the season of Advent and what it means to us as Catholics.
