Grandparents & Special Friends Day
Grandparents and Special Friends Day will take place on May 7.

We are unable to invite all the grandparents and special friends to campus, but students will be honoring them by making a special craft for at school that they can take home to give to them. May Crowning will take place that morning with the 8th graders, their parents, and their grandparents or special friends in the Church. It will be live-streamed to the rest of the school. Dismissal will be at 11am for all students.

We would like to email a special message and virtual art show to all our grandparents and special friends on May 7. Please fill out this form so that we can send them the video and the link to watch the May Crowning: https://forms.gle/yacb1oDUDoxyFK6M7. Thank you!

Helping Hands
Our beloved, retired First Grade teacher Ms. Elaine Lieber is battling cancer. She had an immense impact on many of her students and is grateful for all the note cards this far. The family is requesting prayers at this time. She is under good care with her cousins.

If you are wanting to contribute to her through flowers, gift cards, or more handwritten notes, please contact Tisha Zeutzius (tzeutzius@stphiliptheapostle.org) or Ana Shepherd (ptohelpinghands@stphiliptheapostle.org) for further information.

What to Know This Flu Season
Flu and COVID-19 are both contagious respiratory illnesses, but they are caused by different viruses. While it’s not possible to say what will happen, it’s likely that flu viruses and the virus that causes COVID-19 will both spread this fall and winter.

Protect yourself, your family, and your community against flu this fall and winter by getting a flu vaccine. Also follow other CDC recommendations to protect yourself from both flu and COVID-19.
