Parish- Call to Renew Campaign
|
|
We are so excited to announce the projects we are working on that will launch St Philips into the next 100 years so that we can continue to be a Sacramental community alive in worship that inspires each parishioner to grow closer to God, become Christ-like disciples, and to go forth to serve others.
This is the 3rd of 5 newsletters because we have 5 projects! Remember if you want to get an overview of all 5 projects in one shot, you can click here to access a short You-Tube video recapping all of our projects.

Project 3 is Relocating the Tabernacle to the Altar
The Eucharist is the core of our Catholic Faith. And the Tabernacle holds our Consecrated Communion Hosts so this is where Christ dwells in the Eucharist. We would like to relocate the Tabernacle to behind the Altar so it is the central focus of our worship. It is currently by the South side exit and is all too often overlooked as people enter and exit the church. In fact, the original design of the church had the Tabernacle behind the Altar. We are restoring this to the original design.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
On behalf of Fr Tony, please be open to the calls and emails from our ambassadors. We will be calling to set up appointments to share the good news on our projects and discuss how you can support us. Please prayerfully consider your financial support.
Even better – you can request an appointment by calling the parish office or by emailing the Parish Finance Council at PFC@stphiliptheapostle.org.
