Now that we are a few weeks into the school year, we expect that students are wearing proper CRB dress code. We’ve noticed a number of students wearing improper shoes this past week, such as Crocs. Students should only be wearing solid-color black or brown shoes.

CRB is offering Robotics this year as a club, which will meet on Wednesday mornings from 8:30-9:30 AM. Students can participate both virtually and in person. Due to COVID, we will only be able to have 15 students participating with building robots at this point. Kits may go home with students after signing a materials agreement. Additional slots will be available for students who are interested in coding.

Robotics will allow students to gain hands on experience with real-world problem-solving, coding, critical thinking, and engineering. The coding language we will use during the club time is Python and the Team is Java. Students will have the option of joining our First Tech Challenge team which last year attended two competitions. Though we are unsure of how competitions will work this year, we need to begin our practice and building for our next competition.
